What is Makkah (Macadamia Dukkah)

Niice Foods Macadamia dukkah (Makkah) is made with roasted ground macadamia nuts, sesame seeds, and blended with a myriad of freshly ground non irradiated spices. These versions are more spice rich and fragrant than traditional dukkah’s.

How do you use Makkah?

Serve as a starter together with ciabatta with a dipping oil, use as a crust for roast veg and braaing with fish, pork chops, lamb or chicken, add to stuffings, sprinkle on soups, pizzas, omelettes, sandwiches, couscous, rice, egg dishes, cheese boards and salads before serving.

Adds texture, depth, flavour and complexity to food, and is ready to use or you can cook in.


The Chipotle Chilli style Makkah has a dominant flavour profile of smoked paprika, cayenne and chilli with added chilli flakes.


Roasted macadamia nuts, sesame seeds, ground cumin, cumin seeds, ground coriander, ground ginger, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, chilli powder, chilli flakes, fennel seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, brown sugar, Himalayan salt.

This flavour is best with:

Cheese boards, Bolognese, nachos, sprinkled over salads and roasted vegetables, pork or lamb chops, chickpeas, dips, a stuffing for chicken and duck, add to burger patties, toasted cheese sandwiches and sprinkle onto mac and cheese.
